Cyber Free State Project

Naturally this isn't the first attempt to create an independent internet "state" and probably not the last. Preliminary findings indicate that without control of the net's infrastructure it would be impossible to create a truly free state. Not only does the problem lie with ISPs controlling the gateways but also with the jurisdiction of local governments in which both user and ISP reside. The first day of my investigation seems to paint a picture of the internet being perceived as an extension of nations and that people that populate them.

Roadblocks:
  1. Defining the role and objectives of a Cyber Free State.
  2. Reconciling the CFS with local/international governments
  3. Separating online personalities from real-world persons
  4. Work on better techincal names
  5. Understand what my predesecors were trying to accomplish and identify why they failed
  6. Identify more roadblock
Publications Searched:
  1. The Wiki of "Cyber Law"
  2. A Declaration of the Independance of Cyberspace
  3. An Introduction to Cybersecession
